Contemplative Artificial Intelligence?
Why can we think about the universe when the universe can’t think about us? It’s this very ability to contemplate things outside of us that makes humans unique. Yet many scientists are working to endow artificial intelligence with this distinctly human ability as well. But if AI is programmed to contemplate the world and then act upon conclusions it draws, whose ethics and morals will it use to make those decisions? Dr. Jeff Zweerink joins host Michelle Mendoza on Live From Seattle to discuss this question and share his thoughts on how even AI provides an argument for the existence of God.
